Thanks to Mr. Zdravko Duchev we managed to find Mr. Vasili in the parking lot of Diellas Super Market. If you don't see him there in the morning (10-11 AM) or in the afternoon (5-6 PM) don't hesitate to call him! He is a very friendly fisherman from Astrakeri Port who sells fresh fish, shrimps etc. at a good price.

You won't imagine that it's hard to find fresh seafood or fish on an island like Corfu. Luckily we were appointed to Vassilis - one of the few fishermen near Sidari (or the only one we've met here). He's bringing his daily catch near one of the biggest supermarkets in the small town located in the northern part of the island of Corfu. Regularly his catch includes: gilt-head bream (Cipura), seabass (Lavraki), shrimps (Garidas), squids (Kalamari) and octopus (Chtapodi). If you ever pass by Sidari and want to prepare delicious seafood on your own - don't hesitate to look for or phone Vassilis!
