Read and write reviews about Lyrarakis Wines. “Lyrarakis Wines” is a family winery, established on the island of Crete, Greece, in 1966. During these five decades of continuous evolution, our family has devoted itself to the revival of indigenous, almost extinct, rare grape varieties of Crete like Dafni, Plyto, Melissaki and others. Vinificating wines that highlight their value and distinctive character. The vision of Lyrarakis Winery, reflected on our identity, is incorporated in our logo. The rows and perspective of a vineyard, form the greek letter “Λ” (lambda), which is the initial of the family’s name. The “motion” in these lines expresses the dynamism of the winery, the continuous investment in the vineyard and in research, as well as the new perspectives we are trying to create for the Cretan wine and the Cretan agricultural production, opening new paths every day.
