The staff at the MRI department consists of young, inexperienced, just out of the school doctors. The lady doctor at the CT department was blunt and unfriendly. Not a good experience for a patient that feels insecure and anxious. The administrative staff was just indifferent and lacking a smile. The equipment is great but this is not enough. They deal with people suffering from something they have to be more humanely.

I was here for a brain functional MRI. I needed this tremendously to get a timeline of the changes my brain is going through, to be used in court at a later date. They refused to do it, on the reason that functional MRI is only used to locate tumors. I’m not joking, this was the given excuse to kick me out of the building. My brain is under constant attack with an unidentified technology. I have some objective evidence and there is also an existing precedent very well covered in the news and research groups. Unfortunately, before I even got to open my mouth, I was classified as “flat-earth lunatic” (or worse) and removed from the very means that could have proved my case. To clarify, I was paying for the procedure myself. There was no reason not to go ahead and get a record of my brain state.

Iatropolis Chalandriou has an excellent reputation for it equipment and quality of MRIs. However, it currently suffers from very poor organization, very long waiting times (in my case 3.5 hours wait), some impolite and inexperienced members of staff (admittedly some talented professionals as well), and worse of all, unpredictable and inaccurate turnaround time of results. This is the 9th day after an MRI, the secretaries are giving a different information every time we call, but the results are still awaited! Unfortunately, in the COVID era, the halls were crowded and there was no soap in the bathroom. I have never come across such poor healthcare service in any private healthcare facility.

It is tragic , the results are ready , I cannot pick up it by myself and I had done surgery recently and they ask me to go to police ( I cannot drive right now ) to give the authority paper to my friend that allows to him pick up my exams .....what God sake it is the results and not KGB papers
