We rented a boat for 4 hours in the morning to see some of the amazing bays, beaches and caves. We just wanted to go as a family in our own time and with no skipper. This was all made super easy by isala travel. Correspondence with Spiros was excellent and so were the staff when we picked up and dropped off the boat. Fantastic experience. Thank you. Wholeheartedly recommended.

What a fabolous day!! Isala Travel created a tailor-made private speedboat trip for us around the Zakynthos island in July. It included every beach/cove on our list, with a few added bonus locations we didn't know existed; we are SO grateful for that!! We had a great day on board of the “ILELI”. Everything went smoothly from booking with Spiros to the Trip itself with “Captain Giannis”. Great service, very friendly staff and a wonderful boat. So, absolutely recommendable!!!
The best travel agency in Zakynthos.
We rented a quad from Isala, and Ruby, the rep, was very helpful in recommending local sites. Every local that passed by his store waved or chatted him up. We felt comfort in asking a local who was born and raised on Zakynthos about local activities. The service was genuine with local, Greek, friendly hospitality. The quad was economical andgot us all around the the island. We got a great deal for 4 days. Cheaper than other quotes.
I went here and I didn’t bother going to other travel agencies because of good reviews. The staff were really nice and helpful. The office and the description of the tour (and perhaps the price) kind of set me certain expectations. However I don’t know where to draw the line whether they are overpromising on the tour package or the lack of proper training on the tour guide (his name starts with G) on how to deal with the customers during the trip itself. There were 12 of us taking the tour and I think most of us can agree how his attitude ruins the whole experience. - We were told by the staff we were going to Xygia beach but we didn’t know we were actually just going to the viewpoint and take pictures only for 10 minutes. - We went to the shipwreck viewpoint and we felt like we were being bossed around to follow him and even “reprimanded” some of us to not wander off. We know the risks of walking around cliffs but we’re not children to be told off like that. We literally just went to the viewpoint to take pictures (15 minutes!!) and we didn’t even have the chance to take in the views because he was rushing us to go back to the van. - We’re not sure whether we got a tour guide or a driver. He gave only 4 sentences about Zakythos/Greece during the first 30 minutes of the trip and none for the rest of the trip. - His lack of English/communication skills made us difficult to understand him and I can see his frustration about trying to explain something in English and as a result it comes out as terse and rude. I’m not sure whether I would still recommend this travel agency but in case you end up coming here I hope you don’t end up with the same driver/tour guide.
