Sunset tour was the perfect one. The guide, Dmitris has a great knowledge not only about the meteora. I strongly reccomend to take guided tour.

Very friendly and professional tour guides and drivers. Joined the sunset meteora tour, and it was totally worth it! Comfortable vehicle. Very thorough and enthusiastic explanation from our tour guide Vasillis. Went in to monastery of St Stephen, and went to many spots we wouldn't have otherwise known. Spots of little secrets, spots of great view, spots of great photos. But it's their policy that their tour guide does not enter with us into the monastery. Overall a wonderful experience with this tour.
Great service. Our guide, Christofos(?) was very chatty and jovial. Pick up in a purple bus at the centre of town roundabout was easy and on time. Our driver, George, drove very safely, even in the slick conditions of the rain. 4pm tour took us to San Stefanos Monastery just before they close, so we had about 30mins there. A 3 fee to get in once there. This is the smallest of the Meteora Monastery, but impressive nonetheless. Amazing panoramic views from the courtyard. Due to rain we made a stop in a cute cafe called Qastiro, which, if you like lounge jazz and a cosy setting, check it out. The spicy Italian Hot Choc is pretty darn good! Rain cleared and we had perfect sunset timing and a view to some of the other monasteries, though they were closed at 5pm, so we couldn’t enter. Dropped back in town about 8:40pm, but they took as back to the cafe with no fuss because we had left our umbrella.

Good tour. As advertised. Good price. We got picked up and were taken to visit 3 monasteries. Had sufficient time to walk around the monasteries. The tour did not include a drop off at the great meteora monastery - only pictures from outside. That was a bit disappointing, however, given there is so much to do they had to skip it. Plus the Great Monastery closes earlier at 3pm. All in all, great tour, highly recommend.
I have taken a sunset tour and don't regret. It was really amazing. The local guide Christos made our tour super enjoyable and took care of everybody. I wouldn't seen so many spectacular places on my own.
An excellent tour company! I booked the day trip from Athens and Maria was extremely helpful throughout the booking process, very quick to reply to my questions and she is lovely and friendly to deal with. Thanks to a mistake I made, I discovered how Meteora Thrones really are superb when it comes to customer service. The tour and train tickets were emailed to me a few days before the tour, as planned, and somehow I deleted the email and only realised this at about 10pm the night before the tour. I was panicking! I emailed Meteora Thrones - this was almost 10pm - and only one minute later, they replied, sending me the tickets again. This was very impressive! The tour itself was very good, with an excellent guide and driver, and we visited three spectacular monasteries and stopped at several other places as well. I was with someone who is vision impaired, and both the driver and guide were very helpful when we needed assistance. If you're thinking of visiting Meteora, then Meteroa Thrones is the best option by far.
