Bridge was blown up by Germans in the 1940s. The pier is still there. Would be immensely better if you could walk up to the Achilleion - as was the original purpose. Be mindful that there is NO sidewalk on the road and the bridge actually narrows the road even further. You might get run over. Fun!

Unfortunately, the bridge is in ruin. Only a short pier has survived. Great place for a walk or snorkeling.

It's a stone pier with step's to the sea

Very beautiful stoned beach near the bridge, clear water for snorkeling and give you goosebumps to bath where once royals walked by.
