Great exhibits, such as automated systems, alarm systems, encrypted communication, lifting machines, calendars, medical devices, musical instruments, and - yes indeed - the world's first robot. Succinct and clear explanatory texts or videos to accompany each exhibit. Also, there are guides who also explain the mechanism behind each exhibit, although this part could improve by making the explanations more lively. More importantly, this museum gave me a feeling of being welcome, both because of its coziness, and because the guides were next to us most of the time. This was enhanced by the fact that, on the first day that I visited, I didn't have enough time to see all the exhibits, and the guides let me visit again using the same ticket. This really made me feel like a valued visitor and not like a faceless customer. The highlight of the museum is the interactive exhibits. Also, we got a present at the end, a board game called 'trias' (τριάς), which is also exhibited at the museum. This again shows the museum's dedication to visitors feeling welcome and special. All in all, a a great experience which will make you marvel at the ingenuity and imagination of Ancient Greeks when it comes to engineering, and the application of science in general. If you visit Athens and want to learn a bit more about the people who made this city and country great, this museum is a must-see. 5 stars are for Spock (aka God for us atheists), so 4 stars is still excellent, as this museum was.

MUST VISIT - The perfect museum for any tourist or local. Curated with many interactive reconstructed autonomous machines that will blow you away. The staff are are wonderful and eager to help you in any way. It isn’t a big museum but many visitors find themselves spending over 2 hours there, as every exhibit and piece of information is fascinating.

Very nice museum with replication of old ancient inventions. It's not really big but it's very interesting and the staff explains you very detailed how it works. Also very interesting for kids because of the interactions. You can basically try the things out. Highly recommended!

I tried this museum after our tour guide at the Athens Free Walking Tour recommended it to us. And I sure did not get disappointed! What made the visit to the museum so wonderful are the museum guides. I think with the explanations about the technology alone, I might have felt a bit lost, but thanks to their explanations it was great. Also, I was guided through the armory exhibition, for which the same applied: thanks to all the explanations, the exhibits were filled with life and I can't wait to dive deeper into the history of Agamemnon or Alexander the Great. Many thanks for this great experience on my last day in Athens!

This was a marvellous experience. We had a tour guide who explained all the inventions and allowed us to have a turn afterwards. The recreations are carefully remade from notes made many centuries ago and they show just how advanced the Greeks were. Amazing, really. The guides were kind and explained things very well, even in English - not their native tongue, so hats off to them and their skills. One guide in particular was super enthusiastic and obviously cared about us having a nice time. A great, brief experience for only a few euros. Well worth it.

Amazing museum with multiple exhibitions and a discount for students. A tour of the many interactive exhibits was included in the ticket price. The guides were great and the exhibits incredibly interesting. Unfortunately, we had to interrupt our tour because to check out of our apartment, but the staff was kind enough to let us continue the tour later in the day! Definitely worth a visit.

A small and pretty museum in the center of the city. The entrance ticket is pretty expensive but it will definitely be worth every penny! The best thing is that most of the exhibits are interactive and, be assured that they will blow your mind! If you are lucky when you visit you may encounter small exhibitions like an exhibition about Nicola Tesla’s inventions and they are all interactive!!! You will leave the place with a big smile on your face!!

This museum contains several inventions by the ancient Greeks who helped create all these magnificent temples. Even in the museum we can see some representations to get an idea of \u200b\u200bthe exhibits. So those who want to admire these unique inventions should definitely visit it
