This is my favorite gelato place. It is delicious - especially their signature combo of chocolate and hazelnut, and the homemade whipped cream (which is free!) - and is 3.50 for two flavors in a cone or cup, which is less than the popular spots in Athens. The man at the register is very kind and will walk people through the flavors and give suggestions. However, the staff at the counter tries to rush people along and is not very friendly - one seemed annoyed when my group did not know what they wanted before being able to see the case. I visited three years ago and the staff offered samples of flavors as well as their limoncello, but it seems the growing business makes it more focused on speed than experience.

Yummy creamy real deal Italian gelato. The Italian owner couldn’t have been nicer. There are a few places to sit down. They also serve coffee. There was a good selection of flavors. This place was recommended to us by a taxi driver from Athens. And we thought well maybe it’s just his friend and how good could it really be? Well I have to say that it was a refreshing nice surprise on a hot day in July.

This is the best thing ever! The hazelnut with the dark chocolate combo is just super amazing and the guy is so nice and funny and friendly. Amazing place!

Meh... Nothing particularly exciting. Nocciola and chocolate combination not as unique as the owner likes to advertise. Small shop, nowhere to sit or stand. Try any of the other shop in the old town, especially the Retro Latteria.
