The best position in Nafplio ..... And the best view.
This hotel is a very old hotel, late 60' early 70' I think. NO WIFI (only in lobby) I got a refurbished room. very nice. I got a glimpse on other rooms. not as nice. Common areas are remained old un-refurbished. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The best thing about this place, is the amazing view, overlooking the town and the sea. My room was very spacious and comfortable. Balcony with wood floor, very comfortable furniture, clear glass rail, breathtaking view. Air jet bathtub and a large shower. TV in front of bathtub. The location is very special. it is up on top of a hill, so must use a car (or taxi) for going down-town.
Nafplion Palace, wow our bathroom was bigger than most hotel suites, with great views of the bay & Bourtzi Castle in the bay. Everything in the room operated via several panels of buttons, huge spar, steam-room/shower. Really nice breakfast and great service. It has one large pool and a smaller infinity pool near the suites overlooking the Bourtzi Castle and old town. Probably the best location in Nafplio to enjoy a special meal, limited menu, food was average, good service .
Not 5 star at all. Nice location, great view. But hotel is tired, poorly maintained and there is no service at all. I paid 300 euro a night, way to much for this hotel. Staff are disinterested... Rooms are like from the nineties with outdated gadgets.

If you are into 70ies architecture, this is the place you must stay. The hotel is a bit run down here and there, but overall still in good shape. The staff is very friendly and deliveres a very good service.
