This summer we had a wonderful day with Jackie Boots Nefis Travel Zakynthos Nefis we have done this trip many times in previous years, still I leave a tiny piece of my heart in the stunning local villages with real beautiful people, their kindness & sharing hospitality never ceases to amaze me & my family. This day trip is called “ Back to the Roots “ and it truly is just that with wonderful folk tales & facts from our lovely guide Jackie. There is so much to this amazing trip! You will take a stroll through a beautiful Zakynthian village, wonderful panoramic views & meet four legged friends in Katastari, a wonderful family museum where the family show you an incredible history of their heirloom museum and also once again the hospitality... freshly baked cake, fresh squeezed orange juice & coffee in their welcoming home hub & cafe ️ A visit to the beautiful Monastery of st George. A lovely local market where you can taste & buy zakynthian cheese , oil & much more! Lunch at The Cross Taverna up in Kampi, absolutely breathtaking!! Delicious food & fabulous fun entertainment! Last but not least an amazing insight into Olive oil & it’s process, again wonderful hospitality, you will learn how it all works, taste the oil with bread... when you do, I am certain you will want to buy it! An incredible day, relaxed, not rushed, it will be a lovely highlight to your holiday and the memories will embed in you always or leave you wanting to return.! Wow! What can I say? Amazing tours. We loved the Back to the Roots and Secret Senses tours and would highly recommend. Jackie is incredible and so knowledgeable about Zante.
We had an amazing tour of shipwreck beach and the blue caves ! Also got there before all the big boats so it was alot quieter. Also done the back to roots tour! Nefis gave me a bottle of wine for my birthday and sang me a birthday song in greek which was very much appreciated! The tour was great! We got to see lots of parts of beautiful zakynthos in one day. Will 100% book again when we come back! Many thanks to nefis and the team for making it a holiday to remember. Amazing service! I would recommend to anyone going to zante to book with nefis travel.

Another amazing trip with Jackie and Nefis Travel. Secret Senses is a must do. Jackie's knowledge and passion for Zakynthos and it's traditions shine through on this tour. From the winery to the fantastic meal and time spent in the hillside taverna. Don't want to spoil it for anyone, just to say every element is memory making stuff. Already looking at next year's trips and itinerary. Book it, you'll love it.
Such a wonderful experience and incredible trips. Jackie and her team are an absolute pleasure. They make sure everyone is included and has the best experience. So different from the standard trips, they go to hidden gems and you get to see the real Zákynthos. Social distancing and masks are worn, I felt very safe. Absolutely perfect from start to finish.

We went on the Secret Senses trip this year and had a brilliant time from the moment we were picked up at our hotel in a private minibus to the moment we were dropped off again. We went on the Back to the roots trip last year and couldn't wait to try a different trip this year. We were not disappointed!! I would highly recommend this company for its professionalism and customer care, especially in this difficult year with the Covid restrictions.
