Walking through the picturesque alleys of Pyrgos town you will find Cava Alta’s little terrace. Overlooking the village, it offers a selection of meat and fish options. Chef has fused European and Asian ingredients to prepare interesting dishes that maintain a Greek flair. We opted for the fish, it was totally worth it. Service was very friendly and fast; head waiter was really knowledgeable of the ingredients and guided us to make our selections. Don’t overlook home wine and save some space for the sweets.

Best food in whole Santorini! The restaurant has a small rooftop with an amazing view! (Better make a reservation, to be sure) The menu is very interesting. The food both meat and fish we had was so tasty, we cleaned our plates! They have a variety of wines and the staff is very friendly too. There is simply nothing wrong with this restaurant. Will visit it again once i get back to the island!

The food completely blew us away... do try the Ouzo pasta and Pork belly! Beautiful ingredients, plating and burst of flavours. Service is friendly, attentive and they also gave free raki shot, bread with tomato paste, sweets at the end.

I came here for my birthday with my husband. I didn't expect this restaurant to be so wonderful. The foods are so so so good and the service is over the top. I ordered 3 starters and 2 main courses. Really recommended!!!! I would give 10 stars hahahha (we came August 2020)

Best place in pyrgos! You need to go uphill to find it but trust me is worth it! Don't forget to make a reservation as during high season is always packed. They change their dishes every season and they improve.. Definitely a must for those who seek comfort food but at the same time something more special.

Great restaurant with a great view, situated on the top of a building. Food was delightful, so were the appetizers and wine. Reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I would give a a 5 star to our charming, friendly and very polite waiter (George). It is a cute modern taverna with typical old furnishings. It does feel like if you are having a meal at your besties grandma house. Everything is welldone. The food is not bad but not sure if it was fish of the day or best olive oil we have tried on the Island. It was not bad,we ate everything but once again the quality of Greek food on the islands is soo good that you become picky. The music did not match the place, food and design of the taverna. I do like a dose of pop music but I do believe also that part of the quality of a typical taverna is the atmosphere and part of is the music.

Oxtail donuts !! (Starter) pork belly (main) Go for it !! Amazing atmosphere, amazing sunset, quality wine & beer , friendly service. Top top. Total random find. 100% recommendation. Dinner for two (50) good value !!!!
