A restaurant living in the past. Exactly as it was in the 80's. Food cold, tasteless meat with unidentified sauces that you could paste the wallpaper with. Chocolate souffle spongy, tasteless and super expensive. Service albeit good however waiter taking our order was rude! We were pressured to order and he had no time to explain. My shoe was stuck to the carpet, looked down and saw the carpet was taped in parts! For such an expensive restaurant the paper menu could have been a better quality and not have prices pencilled in! I could go on. Nightmare experience I don't want to think about.
I was advised to go here... it's old glory. What disturbed me that we ordered fishsoup... and the soup got on the table within 3 minutes. No joke. For the price level of this restaurant... totally not worth it. But It is popular with the old people from kifissia.
Good good. Bit old fashioned but nice
I visited the place with a friend on March 8th 2020 after his suggestion. We tried the salad \Blue Pine\, the foie gras with figs, spicy tartare and the chateaubriand for 2 people. The salad, foie gras and tartare were executed to perfection and were very tasty. I did not go crazy for the chateaubriand coming with fries cut as sticks and bearnaise sauce but it did not disappoint. In my opinion the service was exceptional and I really approve of the fact that the staff were older people. To me it means that they do not try to substitute experience for cheaper hands. Although the restaurant is in the pricier side, I would definitely suggest if you want to try classic French cuisine.
