I'm always stumped when restaurants can offer vegan options and don't have a vegan section of the menu for passing trade Galini was one of these restaurants than can offer vegan options, but don't explicitly advertise the fact they do We chose the restaurant in the main for the view overlooking Hersonissos from the small village Koutouloufari above. Its a truly wonderful view especially during sunset The food itself was simple and home cooked but so much taste Mushrooms for starter and then vegetable pasta for main - food with few ingredients but packed full of taste For a small restaurant it soon got busier as the night progressed and with great food and great service you can see why

This restaurant is well worth a visit while in koutouloufari. The service was 5* but the prices were not! They serve traditional cretan food like deer in honey or duck in orange and mustard and they are tasty, well presented dishes. The waiting staff are extremely attentive and they have some good recommendations if you are unsure what to try! Everyone was friendly, the setting is lovely, the chairs are comfy oh and the brandies are very large...

The perfect place for an excellent end of the day. Gianni is very nice friendly and polite person I've never known, with a great heart and he knows how to treat customers. The food is excellent and I liked so much how they introduce every plate. The staff is all kind. I'll come back again, if I could give more stars I've done. I love this restaurant so much. Thank you for all. I came back again for the second time. All the staff was very kind and friendly as we were in a big family. Irini, the owner, was very amazing and kind, she gave a gift for our honeymoon, very appreciated. I'll never forget her, she's in our heart forever and I'll come back again my next time in Crete. Thank you Irini ️
Its probably the best dining experience in the town...I like my duck a little more cooked than most people and they obliged me by taking it back to the kitchen and returning it to my liking...
Absolutely amazing food and service. The prawns with honey and sesame are famous around here a definate must try. Will be going back again.
Visited Gallini's in June 2019. Got to say, it was one of the best experiences eating out on our holiday in two weeks. We experienced the ultimate class of Greek Cuisine. The Staff where unbelievably professional, friendly and classy. A place we shall never forget. 5* excellent.
Had a dinner - super view from roof terrace, superb serving of food combined with excellent taste and great friendly service. Price is a bit higher than most of surrounding restaurants, but the full experience is fully worth it!
