an institution with a very pleasant interior. They have two outdoor areas, one of which overlooks the caldera. Tables with a view of the caldera must be booked in advance. We didn't know about this, but we also liked the second site. Our table was served by a girl, very attentive and pleasant. The menu of this restaurant is not very large, the average price for a dish is 20-30 . Delicious cocktails for 15 . We live in Santorini, we promise to come back!

Food and service was great. I had strip loin steak and my wife had the fish of the day which was a sea bream (grilled) both were really tasty. Service was too quality. The restaurant has really nice setting - although only a few seats get an uninterrupted view of the sunset.

You MUST reserve a table 1 day in advance. Food was good but the view and staff were the standouts. Kosta was very friendly, quick and was happy to take our pictures. While I housed an entire bottle of wine by myself, he gave my wife a non alcoholic drink (since she's pregnant) on the house. That's super classy!

Pretty average and overpriced restaurant in the old town of Thira, we were left disappointed. We made the booking while on our anniversary trip to Santorini. We visited plenty of restaurants on the island before this one and all of them had amazing service and great food. Kaliya has the caldera views, but this is nothing extremely special here on the island. For the sunset you also need to be placed by a particular table, otherwise you will not have the sunset view (it is obstructed by the restaurant called “Lounge” in front). Our anniversary wasn’t even mentioned (let alone freebies, nobody even offered anything special for us to order - not sure why they ask if you’re celebrating anything if they’re not gonna do anything with this info). The food came cold. Portions were small (around half of what you normally get here in Santorini). The service was ok up to the point when they started asking in full volume how much tip we would like to leave them and then repeating the tip amount (again full volume) so everybody around could hear. Not very professional. Prices of wine per glass massively exaggerated - you can get a full bottle for this amount in a vineyard 5 km further. Definitely didn’t make it to our top Santorini places.

A lovely place for many reasons. Polite staff and friendly environment. The view is great to enjoy the sunset and the moon. A destination to drink or eat something really tasteful. Don't forget to try the desserts. Thank you for the great time. See you again.

Overpriced. The fava and hummus were not bad, nor the starters nor the main dish. But we have spent 165 for two with cocktails and wine... We were expecting like a close to gastromic experience but really, quite disappointing we were freezing cold because of the wind, they had to move us after the 5th time we complained because they wouldn't provide us with blankets ( due to corona). But yeah, there is nothing enjoyable to eat when you are cold . Asked for a allume cigare, which they accomodate us with. I would give them a good point for that and for the interior design which was really nice.

Food is very good, terrace is also very nice and the location and view over the sea is great for a sunset. Make sure you book in adavance if you want space in the terrace if you want to enjoy the sunset
