It's a cute little museum with the most caring and enthusiastic owner you can imagine. He can answer every question and willingly will tell you about everything there is in that precious little museum. It's all for free but donations can be made in a basket at the door. If you are in Spili it's a must see. We had such a great time there.(and he can give the tour in Greek, German, English and Russian, ) thank you for the experience!

Nice little place and an enthusiastic member of staff showing us around. Entrance is free but they accept donations.
Very nice place with extremely nice guide
The old Cretan tools are fascinating, but the biggest attraction is the owner who is completely out of his mind in the best possible way. He was a ball of pure energy and enthusiasm and he knows the word for “loom” in at least 12 languages. “This is a bed! Yes, very small bed! Maybe for small people? I don’t know. And here is a loom!!”
Worth a visit. Great little museum tucked away in the back streets. Free entry as well
Probably the most enthousiast museumkeeper in Greece. Nice museum
This museum was the highlight of our visit to Spili when my wife and I drove there. The collection is impressive and the guide was extremely good, answering our questions about everything in the museum as well as about Spili and Crete in general. It’s a must see for anyone visiting inland Crete.
The museum is small but the tourguide makes up for it with his humorous tour, recommend to stop by for around 15 minutes. He can also answer any questions you may have about the area
