Scruffy building. Scruffy elevator. This is an office that has been converted into a large room. The only reason for two stars is the size of the room which is very large with two sofas. The bed is a double pull down. The room has electric sockets in all the wrong places. No socket near the bed. The kettle has a short leaf and you have to put it on the floor to plug in to an extension lead! Breakfast is a vacuum packed croissant in the fridge and Melba toast. No milk so we had bought our own. So basic that you cannot really call it breakfast! Room was clean. Furniture is cheap. Lighting has low wattage bulbs making it hard to read books comfortably. Location is brilliant - right by Monastiriki Square. Easy stroll up to Sintagma. Would I come again for 93 per night? No I would opt for a hotel. But if you don't want the hotel experience then this place does give you plenty of space and great location.
