Authentic tasting Mexican food on the Mediterranean coast? Who knew? The food was very tasty and true to what you'd get in Texas or California, somewhere not quite Mexico, but close enough. I'm LA based, so this place was definitely on par with what I'd get at home. The prices were great too. Would definitely recommend!
Surprisingly good Mexican food in Athens!! Staff is incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even to large groups. They offer a wide variety of taco fillings — my favorites were the fish, small shrimps, and carnitas. They also sell multiple flavors of Jarritos, which was a real treat on a hot day!
I expected better due to the Google reviews. Went last night and ordered the nachos with guacamole, the tacos and the burrito bowl. Honestly I thought it'd be like Chipotle due to the burrito bowl selection but nothing like that unfortunately. My bowl was gigantic (you'd think it is a good sign) but actually 1/2 of it was shredded cabbage. There were barely any beans nor meat. Honestly a smaller bowl with less cabbage and a bit more frijoles (which are very cheap let's face it) would have been a tastier dish. The tacos I didn't try but my partner says they were fine, nothing outstanding. On the other hand, meat and sauces tasted delicious. Too bad there wasn't more. Also the service was very attentive and nice. Prices are fair too. We were just passing by and craved some Mexican food but if we did live here we wouldn't come again either. PS. What's with the HUMONGOUS amounts of cilantro, is that necessary?

Authentic little taco joint in the heart of Athens. Serving tacos con pollo/pork carnitas/ lamb/ veal/sweet potatoes with chorizo etc. Tacos were supreme!! Burritos were average. The service is really quick, staff is attentive, prices are reasonable!! Well done!!
