The hypothesis adopted by iCry2Talk is that the efficient combination and analysis of different sources of information through advanced signal processing techniques and deep learning algorithms can provide meaningful and reliable feedback to the parent related to the care of his baby. We aim to bridge the communication gap between parents and their babies and assist in the provision of prompt and proper care of the babies’ needs. We support young and inexperienced parents with an objective tool for cry recognition and alleviate the stress of relying solely on their instincts and intuition. We create a community of parents, doctors and experts on the field to promote meaningful interaction and knowledge exchange while supporting our cry samples donation campaign.
