We work towards promoting chemistry to everyday people and connecting chemistry students to their future work environment. As a group of undergraduate students ourselves, we believe we have a lot to learn and we are trying to achieve that through team work. We organise field trips to working environments of our interest and conducting chemical experiments that are family friendly and do not demand a scientific background from the viewer. Completed Projects until now: Treasure Hunt A project of ReAcTiON with long-term planning, funded by EYCN, with 100 players and 100 volunteers. The purpose of the game was to bring people close to the history and practice of Chemistry in an interactive and entertaining way. One-day conferences - Radiopharmaceuticals and Their Applications on Nuclear Medicine - The Scientific Approach to Invenstigating a Case - One-Day Coffee Conference'​ - Cosmetics & Organic Products Experiment Shows - In “ΑUTh in the City” - In “AUTh on Sunday” - In “Researchers'​ Night” at 2016 & 2017 - At schools - In 'The Municipal Library of Thermi'​ - In Katerini. Panhellenic Day of Chemistry In collaboration with the Association of Greek Chemists, ReAcTiON designed and handed out brochures for the presence of Chemistry in everyday life on March 11th. Field Trips in workplaces Ali, Souroti, Aliment Lab, Holchem Chemicals, Sknipa, Thrace Group, Barba-Stathis, Agrolab, Ampelooeniki Received Awards - 2nd spot in 'Audience's Vote'​ and the 3rd spot by the jury in "Favourite Science Moments"​ Video contest. For this success, the team was also awarded by the Dean of AUTh in the event of 'Award of Honor'​. -ReAcTiON was awarded for their volunteering work and the ardor they show in promoting the science of Chemistry. The award was given by the Regional Department of Central & Western Macedonia of AGC and the Association of Chemists of Northern Greece.
