A breathtaking view of Thessaloniki; quiet and peaceful. This building is one of the oldest in Greece, a historical landscape of a beautiful Monastery, and at the back a variety of birds like peacocks and pheasants. A place to surely visit.
In the Ano Poli (Upper City) there is the Vlatadon Monastery - the only monastery in Thessaloniki that has survived from Byzantine times. From his courtyard there is simply a breathtaking view of the sea, as well as of the city.
Desolate due to COVID? Extra quiet. Nice.
One of the best places to see the panorama of Thessaloniki. The church was unfortunately closed.
Beautiful place with the best view and Demetrius service at the shop is great !
A good stop if you're walking from the western part of the city to the castle. It offers arguably better views of the city than the castle, and you can also stop in to the small church and see some good art and history.
Nice view from here. Very quiet place but quite central. If you like Byzantine icons, you're at the right place.
