The Politsa bridge was built at the end of the last century in order to serve the villages of Ampelochori, Raftanaios, Agnanta, Pramanta, Ktistades, with Ioannina through Katsanochoria. The bridge consists of four arches of which three are smaller have a vertical projection on the ground, while the large arch is projected in the waters of Arachthos. It is built of stone from the same area, and the craftsmen were locals. The bridge was built with the funding of Ioannis Loulis and together with a series of other buildings is a set of public utility projects constructed by the above benefactor. Used as a starting point for canoeing, kayaking and rafting.

Old, single-arch, stone bridge next to the modern one. Aracthos river is flowing under the bridge and there are plenty of picnic spots on its shores. The Valley of the river is amazing, however you should know that the drive down The Valley is rather hard.

Amazing
The bridge of Politsa, a one-arch stone-bridge, connects the village of Ampelochori with that of Fortossi. There are no known data concerning when and by whom it was built. Next to it and even sharing the same boulders, has been built a concrete modern bridge for the vehicles, which looks so odd next to the traditional stone-bridge.
Its a magical spot, well worth the hard drive down, the views are glorius
Το γεφύρι ενώνει τον Δήμο Κατσανοχωρίων (Φορτόσι) με τον δήμο Πραμάντων.Η πρόσβαση είναι ένας δρόμος γεμάτος στροφές ,μέσα σε τεράστιους βράχους και δίπλα ακριβώς,έχει κτισθεί τσιμεντένια γέφυρα που οδηγεί στο χωριό Αμπελοχώρι.
