Visited in June 2018 (it opened in November 2017), and it's still yet to reach it potential. However that being said it's a lovely place to spend a few hours in the cultural centre and huge herb garden, up on the top of the hill with great views or in the cafe. All of which are impeccable kept. In the animal area (zoo gives the wrong impression) the animals look well kept and well fed etc. but this could be a divisive part for some.

The botanic Garden is very beautyfull and interessting, but the Part with the animals, ist would be much better without this improper livestock Farming....
I was there something around 4PM and it was closed but there wasn't any information why. At schedule it was written that it should be open till 6PM. I lost a lot of time to get there, thankfully close to this place is Zaros Lake and really beautifull gorge...
Everything was great here, the mountains looked awesome, the employees were very nice, the food was great, and everything else. The only thing that upsets me is the flying squirrel enclosure. They need hammocks, snuggly places, places to climb on, 2-4 hours of interaction of humans a day. Hope they change that, other than that, 5/5! Completely worth it.
Worth a walk, even if it's hot. Shades from the trees, lots of flora and animals. In the entrance there's a museum with pictures and stories about Greece.
Interesting nature park in spectacular scenery. All kinds of native plants and small livestock animals. New in 2018. Will improve as the plants become more established.
Great place for the kids
Absolutely fantastic!!! You should visit it...
