A good Chinese restaurant. I like the shrimp dumplings here.

Went for lunch on a Wednesday and we were the only customers. The restaurant is large, clean and pleasant, family-run. We ordered hot&sour soup, fried calamari, beef with black beans, and an eggplant clay pot. The calamari was the only dud, heavily battered and horribly greasy. Everything else was surprisingly good. Though the black beans were nowhere in sight, the beef was flavored with black and Sichuan peppercorns and was tender and perfectly cooked, so we didn’t mind. The eggplant was baked with ground pork, scallions and rice noodles and was soft and savory with an appealing combination of textures. The flavors seemed considerably less Westernized than I’ve had in other Chinese restaurants in Athens, which makes this a real find, so I will probably return.
Nice, quiet environment. The food is ok and reasonably priced. Pretty Chinese decor. They have buffet service on Sundays.
The experience took place, 4 months ago. Very poor selections in food on their buffet, not so fresh, not so great taste. They haven't explained to their customers probably that in a buffet, you need to change plate every time you go for a round, cause it isn't sanitary to touch your plate with the serving equipment. It has no view, even if it is on a nice spot and in a way you do not feel very welcomed. It is a pity, cause it is the only asian restaurant in the area. Very cheap buffet, but still i wouldn't go there again with these standards. TO THE OWNER SINCE THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO REPLY HERE. The fact that your only worry of my review for your restaurant, is if i speak, write, understand both languages, amazes me. I know your restaurant for more than 10 years, it was never a thrilling place. Also it is my right to write about my experience whenever i feel like. Speaking for myself, as a reviewer i dont write to do any harm. You do harm to yourself when you do not meet the standards, as many other entrepreneurs do too. Are you suggesting that if someone comes to your restaurant has bad quality food and no good service is supposed to pay leave and never say anything to anyone? Or come in private in your store and tell you how bad it was to get a free meal, that will set the deal there, but you will never upgrade to something better? I wont come in your restaurant again, not because i dont want to give you another chance, but because with your answer, i cant trust you. I m sorry, but you need people to advise you how to run social media and your business.
