Perfect solution for those, who want to save some money during visit to Santorini. Located on the black beach of Perissa, it is a perfect spot to organize your travel to other sides of the city. Availability of a bus, several car sharing shops make it a nice origin point for your trip. Staff is friendly and helpful, will be able to suggest you any place to visit: from a local tradition restaurant to the top 5 places to visit on Santorini. Enjoyed staying there with my friends. Definitely to consider as a solution for your trip!

The best hostel for its price. The room for 4 people is simply amzing. The view is from just outside my door.
Hostel Anna is the place to go for budget travelers in Santorini! The hostel is close to the beach, however to get anywhere on the island you need a car or use the buses which come every hour during covid times. The kitchen is very lacking at the hostel and there is no bar area to easily meet travelers. But for the price, it is a great hostel!
The Anna Youth hostel was a major let down. The one positive I can give this place is that they had a lot of really awesome guests. I met great people for being here such a short time. I stayed here for only one evening and even that was too much in terms of the facilities. I thought the price is was good but upon experiencing the piss poor service even 11 was too expensive. The reception has a sign clearly stating “reception hours 9:00am-2:00pm 4:00pm-10:00pm” I arrived at 12:00pm sharp (the time Hostelworld specifies check-in starts) and found no one at the desk. It was only after waiting 30minutes and asking a housekeeper from the property where the reception clerk was that somebody showed up. Not only was there no one at the desk but the luggage storage room’s door which is adjacent to reception was wide open! I know Greece is generally safe in terms of theft, however the risk taken when managing others belongings should be mitigated! When checking in the clerk told me I could not use my visa as my purchase wasn’t large enough, so I paid in cash. She then showed me to my room which was about what I expected. After her leaving the room I found there was no way to turn on the AC, I went to reception to ask her how to turn it on and she said that they control them and only turn them on in the evenings. This was completely unacceptable to me as the room was super hot, and I was already sweating like a pig from waiting outside of their reception office for 30minutes! She proceeded to yell at me and then pulled at a remote saying you can just take the control then in a harsh tone. Reception should not speak to guests in the way they did and not advertise that every room has AC when they limit the use of said AC. Other notes: the bathrooms were dirty, 2 out of the 3 toilet stalls did not lock, the road adjacent to the hostel is super noisy, the pool and bar that the hostel advertises in photos is not at the property! They don’t offer a pool or bar.
Youth Hostel Anna is not a 5* Hotel and never pretended to be so do not forget about it . It's a small nice youth hostel, 5min from the beach, close to all you could need during your stay (bakery, supermarket, bus station....) The staff is really lovely ans do hard work to keep the hostel really clean and nice for everybody. They are really helpfull, full pf tips. Thanks Hostel Anna because without you I couldnt afford Santorini. :)
I was fortunate enough to bunk in the rooms on the upper floor. I was in a room with 3 others. But the people on the floor beneath us had to room with 10 others. It was awesome having the beach really close! We had issues with the toilet and the shower. But the staff was very accommodating.
Great service, nice location. Rooms were clean. Hostel is located next to a main road which makes it noisy and the bathrooms were not the cleanest but fine for a few nights. Not the most social hostel I’ve ever stayed in but did the job. You get what you pay for!!
extremely cheap hostel, 9 euro for one bed per night. what to complain and expect? common bathroom and wc for girls and boys seperated. 7 minutes walk to perissa beach. in front of the beach, many restaurant with not so expensive price perissa beach with black sand. the room of hostel on the bed does not come up with charger on each bed. but well, many plug of electric city to charge your device. friendly and helpful reception. salty water from the tab to shower or brush your teeth
