Very interesting place, but not much in the way of exhibits to explain the history. Has a good cafe and, importantly, reasonable toilets. Certainly worth a visit, does involve a bit of a climb to get to the top, but the views are worth it.

Definitely a must do when visiting Corfu! Try to go on a sunny day. Great views from the top. Lots of steps would not recommend on a rainy day as can be slippery. Nice little cafe inside. Roughly spent 2 hours here exploring.

It's one of my favourite places to go in Corfu Town. It's definitely worth climbing up to the top of the fortress as the view is absolutely crazy beautiful and you won't regret it. However, for chubby people like myself, climbing might be a tiny bit tiring but as I said you won't regret it. Give it a try, it's breathtaking...lol literally

Great views over old Corfu, into the bay and out to sea from the top. 6 euro standard entry and 3 euro student entry at the time of visiting. There is access to the sailing club and resteraunt down by the sea and also a unique secluded beach where you can take a dip after the climb to the top.

Very quiet and empty walk up the mountain, not much to see. There’s a restaurant halfway up that plays Classical music which doesn’t fit in my opinion and close by is a big pile off construction rubbish. The view over the sea and towards the island is breath taking. The fortress inside is 70% empty and 30% prohibited to walk with some old wooden chairs.

The fortress is reasonably priced at 6 euros, and is interesting to look around, though there is little to know signage once inside and no maps to help you figure out the best way around and what there is to see. We found a way to the top and back down. It was so hot, so we walked down to a hidden beach next to the yacht club for a swim in the pretty still and clear water. There are some shady spots unter the trees there to cool down too. Would definitely recommend bringing your swimming gear to make the most of what's available on a hot day!

Scenic and iconic fortress with very good elevated view of the Corfu City. Entrance fee is 6 eur per person, open hours 8-20. Inside is more focused on exploration the vast open spaces than musem Expo, nevertheless you can visit two exhibitions and one church. Ruins are in pretty good shape, some parts aren't accessible due to renovation. You can climb all the way yo the old lighthouse and steel cross. Being there and paying the entrance fee without climbing it is not worth it. Don't miss old canons near the clock tower. You can grab something to eat there and use lavatory.

Lovely big old fortress. Not that interesting walking around but beautiful views at the top. Very hot walking mid day in the sun. There's a little beach to the side that is calm & gorgeous water & trees for shade. Perfect for a dip!
