If you like the ruins of old fortresses, you should visit this place. The old walls and arches have been preserved from the 13th century. A century-old olive tree grows nearby. A beautiful view of the surroundings opens from the walls of the fortress
Lovely views, good 20/30 minutes stop and look around. Nice Instagram photo opportunities if that's your thing. There are also a handful of benches around if you are travelling with older people.

Let's not expect a French or British castle, but its there and partly intact and they don't charge you to visit it. Give it 10 to 20 mins
If you are looking for a quick walk inside ruins of the ancient castle - go for it. It will take about 10-15 minutes. Having good imagination you can try to recreate how the building used to look alike. Unfortunately there is no explanation or any information about the history of the place. It's a Greek thing I believe.
I wouldn't say its worth the visit but for myself I didn't regret I took the time to go and see these relains. There isn't much to find and no information on the history of the place.
Great fortress, I would definitely suggest that you visit here if you are in the area. Lovely views of the surrounding area and is around the corner from the lake and a nice quiet beach.
