Well it so magical from outside but there is nothing in it. When I went it is reconstruction time. If you are at Nauplion it’s recommended to see it.

It's closed now for renovation, so the boat, for 4.5 e, takes you there for 10 min and then around the coast, with impressive views. Worth it.
It looked nice from the outside. Could not get in as it was under renovation and closed.

The place is great! But... it is closed for renovation, you cannot get inside, only outside alone the narrow line of land with a huge amount of construction wastes. Sea taxi goes every 30 minutes if 6 persons are on board, the cost 4.5 EURO. And not every time the skipper says that the castle is closed. But after 10 minutes walk along the castle you will go to a small cruise along the coastline to have views fron sea on Nafplion fort.
Beautiful well maintained fortress in a small island, close enough to the city of Nauplio. Boat tours can be arranged from the port.
