The first parliament of Greece (vouleftikon in Greek language), is a remarkable building with great importance in the history of the new era of Greece.
Vouleftiko was the first parliament of Greece. A transformed mosque from the years of Turkish rule. Its hard to see it aince its not always open but if they have some seminar or festival you can always step in and see around for a bit. A very spartan like place with simple decor
It is an integral part of the historical heritage of Nauplia, the first Parliament after Greece's liberation from the Turkish century-long occupation. Often used for classical concerts too, although the acoustics aren't great.
It was the first parliament of Greece, when the Nauplio was the capital of the country. It is located at the beautiful central square of the town. Historical place, the building has nice architecture. Unfortunately, it was closed the day i tried to visit indoor space of the building.
