Aristotelous Square is the Central Square in Thessaloniki City. During Christmas period you can see in the photos decorations and a big Christmas tree with many lights. People come here to take photos and have fun at this wonderful period of time.

It's the main square from thesaloniki, so if you are in Thessaloniki you should definitely check this square

Some handsome architecture by local standards, but considering it’s the centrepiece of the city and its showcase square, the quality of public realm and urban design is poor - almost an afterthought. There’s some greenery around the edges, including some conspicuously dead trees, but most of it is just a tarmac surface. Needs a revamp befitting its status.

Magical place.

A lively historical sea front with plenty of bars and restaurants. Some expensive places but not always the best quality . If you take a little walk away from the beautiful square you will find much nicer food and drinks.

The square is set alongside the sea and is a good starting point for exploring the sights of the city. Many cafés and shops are located in the square, and the statue of the Aristotle. You can not get out of there without squeezing it tightly for a finger on your left foot - so, they say, you will catch wisdom from the ancient thinker!

The central square of Thessaloniki is surrounded by charming cafes, bakeries, restaurants and patisseries. Bordered on the lower side by the sea, and on the upper bustling shopping streets. A real Greek square under the watchful eye of a statue of Aristotle.
