Very convenient hop on hop off bus. Routes covered get you just about anywhere you want to go. We had a bit of trouble with the audio guide, and it is not very informative compared to other cities we've visited. WiFi is excellent. Price is quite reasonable. We spoke to folks on our cruise ship who had been ripped off by a taxi: the CitySightseeing bus is a convenient, safe and trustworthy way to get around.

Do the walking tours with Dimitri! You’ll thank me later! My apologies if I misspell your name. On our first day in Athens, when attempting to locate the closest stop to our accommodation we were fortunate enough to be directed by Google maps to the Athens HR office for City Sightseeing. Nonetheless, they welcomed us in, sat us down, explained how it all worked and recommended we do the included walking tours with Dimitri. We thank you for your hospitality and this recommendation. Dimitri’s historic knowledge and personal interpretations of history was highly engaging, thoughtful, provocative but highly compelling. Of all the paid walking/guided/group tours I’ve done throughout my travels, Dimitri’s smashed them all out of the park. City Sightseeing have a genius amongst them. The buses were all on time at the stops and the staff at each stop were all very friendly and helpful.

I decided to take the bus on my second day, bought and paid for 1-day and got 1 extra-day free. I went round Athens several times hopping off and on. The next day went to Piraeus....a journey that I enjoyed immensely. All the members of staff who I came in contact with were attentive, courteous and kind. They each ensured I was comfortable and understood what laid ahead. I would like to mention Theodoris who was particularly kind. I had 2 separate encounters with him and he was both helpful and respectful. I appreciate him, immensely.

This is a bus tour by automated recording, which is fine, but the service is poor. The bus drivers talk over the guide when announcing some of the stops, so you miss some of the commentary. It's more expensive than other tours but the Piraeus (green) line goes around the coast when some of the others don't. I recommend bus tours but this one was a poor effort. And the free \bruschetta\? Does that look like bruschetta to you?! Don't bother.

We loved and enjoyed the program so much.. We just have one comment about the quality of the recorded voice, I am not sure if it is from the headphones or from the machine itself but we would have appreciated if it was clearer. Your bus tour is absolutely a must do in Athens...

Demetrios made the day amazing with his walking tour. It's included for FREE whenever you book the bus. Definitely recommend doing that! The bus ride itself is pretty cool. You get to see Athens as you drive by, and they provide headphones so you can hear factoids in any language you like.

Not worth. Specially in Winter as walking tours are not there...All stops close by to metro..and you can buy all museum and entries online if planned properly..I bought 3 days pass which is definitely waste of money..9 euro pass for 5 days is much more worth

Really the best tour for Athens and especially with the walking tours. Experienced 2 walking tours with Dimitri and Semeli. Both had amazing knowledge and Dimitri has a way of making people engrossed by his delivery of facts. Surely recommended for everyone travelling to Athens to have a real feel of this historic place.
